ALVA OLOUGHLIN KENNEDY

Alva spent her childhood in Hong Kong, where she recorded her first professional album at just 11.

She has performed across Ireland, from the Belfast Arena to the National Concert Hall, and worked with artists including Westlife and Sinéad O’Connor.

 

Following the release of her debut album, she completed a successful nationwide tour. Alva is now a performer and vocal coach, with a repertoire spanning Musical Theatre, Jazz, Gospel, and Blues.

Alva spent many years singing in St. John the Baptist Church in Blackrock. She is currently the choir director in the Church of St. Laurence O'Toole, Kilmacud.

Alva and Timara direct the choir in the Church of St. Laurence O'Toole, Kilmacud, Stillorgan, which sings at 11.30am Mass every Sunday.

Timara Galassi

Timara Galassi, daughter of an Italian musician, grew up surrounded by music. From a young age, she was already an award-winning composer, vocal coach and singer-songwriter, even taking home the prestigious John Lennon Award in her teens.

 

She has since built a diverse career, writing and performing for advertising, theatre, and film projects. Known for her signature harmonies, Timara transforms familiar songs into fresh, captivating performances.

Timara is the accompanist for the choir at the Church of St. Laurence O'Toole, Kilmacud, where she also creates many of the choir's musical arrangements.

We provide live music for funeral Masses, church services, cremation ceremonies, humanist funerals, civil ceremonies, memorial services and celebrations of life throughout Dublin and the surrounding areas.

With harmony singing, piano accompaniment and violin, we help families create a personalised and meaningful musical tribute that reflects the life and memories of their loved one. From traditional hymns and classical pieces to contemporary funeral songs and bespoke arrangements, we work closely with families to create the perfect atmosphere for the ceremony.
